1. Tell the whole story.
This is the FIRST and possibly LAST time your target will ever see your ad or landing page. Grip them and give them a reason to keep reading. Lay out your whole pitch and be convincing – longer copy usually works better in prospecting, especially if your product/service is expensive.
2. Be a friendly salesperson.
We buy from brands we TRUST and LIKE. This is your prospects first touchpoint with you biz. Don’t be sleazy or suspicious. Your copy should feel like an intimate convo between friends.
3. Don’t underestimate CTAs.
Encourage prospects to take action, and let them know what’s in it for *them*. Reduce friction and make it EZPZ to sign-up or buy from you.
