I instantly doubled my productivity the day I turned off my notifications.

Not just put them on mute for 2 hours.

Not just silence my phone and put it in another room.

I turned them all off.

I had reached a point where I was picking up my phone every minute because I didn’t want to miss a message.

I was checking my email 10x a day just to procrastinate.

I had this uncontrollable urge to check every ping and answer every question right away.

It drove me INSANE.

I couldn’t get any deep work done. I was a prisoner to my phone.
